A First Christmas

This was Sebastian's first Christmas and of course I had to get him a little somethin'. I got him three pieces of clothes. One is a long sleeve onesie that has a fuzzy snowflake and it says "one of a kind". Just like Sebastian.....

Then I also got him his own toy cellphone. It's pretty darn cute. Well, if Mommy and Daddy have cellphones so should he.

Here he is opening a present. Amy said he hadn't been too interested in opening any packages but he was trying to open this one.......thanks Sebastian :-)

Santa's Coming........

OK kids, go to bed early cause Santa's coming to bring you something special.

Mollie and Simon sent Cybill, Summer, Apollo and Saffie presents in the mail (for real.....). So we opened presents already. I also bought some presents for them too. (Mollie, Simon and Zak will have to wait a bit for theirs).

My New Hat

Check out my new hat. Don'tcha love it? I know you wish you had one but it's mine and I'm not giving it up. It helps me work harder, can't you tell? hehehehehe

On a side note: James was released today. He is back home and getting back to his ornery self. He has to continue his breathing treatments but is getting better. Of course he came home to a big Christmas package from his favorite aunt.....:-)

My Poor Little Buddy

I found out this morning that my bestest little buddy James is in the hospital. He has pneumonia and RPV (respiratory virus). He is dehydrated. He is receiving antibiotic, fluids and breathing treatments.

Oh my god when I heard this, I wanted to hop on a plane right then. Of course there are many obstacles that are stopping me from doing this :-( It sucks.

So James, please get better and keep being a good boy for the docs. They got to get you better so you can get home in time for Santa to come. I love ya Kid!!!

My Christmas visitor has arrived. Doesn't Saffie look like she has a mane just like a lion right now. That's funny cause she sneaks cat food like she is one. I think she likes it better than her own food.

This may be the craziest Christmas card you will ever see. I got this e-card from my friends, Jim, Tom and Charles. They are brothers I know from way back to my Disney days. These guys are absolutely hilarious. I love them dearly.

I'm Done!!!!!

Tonight I finished my last batch of Christmas Cookies. That makes 31 different batches. I baked my a$$ off this weekend for sure. All the cookies are currently in my freezer and refrigerator. If you want real food, don't come to my house....hehehehe

For Thursday, December 13th

Yesterday evening was my company's holiday party. It was at the Westin-Sandy Springs. It was pretty nice. They had gambling tables (blackjack, craps, poker). Everyone got a prize (they call your name, you pick a number and you get the package with that number). I won a powertool.

The Hawk

At the beginning of an Atlanta Hawks basketball game, a hawk flies through the arena and lands on a guys arm in the middle of the basketball court. It was pretty darn cool.

Is This a Waste?

Check out this picture. These two cop cars sat on the street outside my house for at least 25 minutes. (I don't know how long they were there before I noticed they were there). The one cop even got out of his car to smoke a cigarette.

So this is where the tax payer's money goes......

Game Night

Scottie's coworker Lynn had a Game night get together at her house. They enjoy their games and also like to play these games during lunch at work. That would never happen at my work :-(

In this picture is Scottie and two of his coworkers. We are playing "Times Up". We pass around a deck of cards that has famous people's names on it. You have a partner and you try to get them to guess the person. There are three rounds. The first round you can use as many words, hums, and gestures as you can and you can't pass. The second round, you can only use one word and hums and gestures, you can pass. The third round, you can only hum and and gesture and you can pass. You do each round until all cards are used. It's pretty hard but fun.

We also had a birthday cake for Serkan. He turned 24 yesterday.

Going Home

Today was Woodrow's last full day in the United States. He flies home tomorrow morning. We took him out to El Azteca (our old Friday night hang out). The group was Brett, Mike, Heather, Woodrow, Raphael, Sebastian, Patricia, Lee, Kellie, Amy, Kris and I. I had a cool time. We haven't done that in so long.

When you go on a Disney Cruise, you have to walk through the mouse ears to get on the boat. I would recommend everyone going on a cruise at least once in their lives. I know Mom and I are ready to go again.......

Poor Apollo

Poor Apollo hurt his tail Sunday night. I wasn't sure if it was broke or jammed. At first he let out a weird sounding meow. Then he wouldn't sit down on it. The tail was just limp. I would lift it up and it would fall like a dead limb. I was so worried. Monday when I woke up, he wasn't any better so I got him an appointment at the vet. The didn't think it was broken. You could touch the tail and he wouldn't cry. He got an anti-inflammatory shot and they said if it wasn't better in 48 hours I'd have to bring him back.

Apollo slept all evening on Monday. He would hold his tail up some but not all the time. Anything Summer would do (running around, walk close to Apollo), Apollo just laid there so I knew he wasn't feeling well. Maybe the shot made him sleepy. It's just so weird to see him so calm. SOOOO, when I got home from the basketball game last night, he was up and chasing Summer again.

For Tuesday, December 4th

Last night my coworker, Kellie and I took Woodrow from APL's Shanghai office to an Atlanta Hawks basketball game. Kellie's husband Brett (who also use to work at APL) joined us. The Hawks were playing the Detroit Pistons. The Pistons won 106 -95.

This was my first pro basketball game so that was cool. Philips Arena has this "Wheel of Prizes". We went and spun the wheel. I won two free tickets to another Hawks game. I was surprised. I don't usually win things.

For Monday, December 3rd

Dang it, Don't know if you heard but AT&T Internet service for about 5 or 6 southeastern states were out Monday night. I didn't know that on Monday night. I thought it was my computer and I tried all these things to try and fix it and I was getting P.O!!!!! I found out Tuesday morning on the AM news. SOOOO, that is why I couldn't post on Monday, so here it is:

Here is a picture of a Coke sign displayed at the World of Coke Museum. A coworker of mine from our Shanghai office is here this week so my boss Mary, her daughter Charlotte, Woodrow from Shanghai and I went to World of Coke on Sunday.

I'm Ready

I'm all ready to start my month of Christmas cookie baking. As you can see by this picture all the ingredients are bought and ready to become yummie cookies.

Today is now the 2nd. 2 batches down. MANY more to go......

World AIDS Day

Today is World AIDS Day. I am a full supporter to finding a cure for HIV and AIDS.

Apparently Apollo is a supporter too. He wore his red ribbon with pride.

Two Small Blonds.....

Meet Cassie and Joey. This is my co-worker and friend Tricia's twin three 1/2 year olds. I can't believe they are that old already. I can remember when Tricia was still waiting for them to arrive. They gave her some serious (as she called it) cankles (cafe/ankles all in one).....hehehehe These two have quite a personality. Sure gives me the giggles.

Sunrise at Stone Mt.

This picture goes along with yesterday's picture. This was taken from my guestroom window. This is Stone Mountain at Sunrise. Now they have the lights shaped like a Christmas tree up now and at night, if it's clear, you can see it. It's pretty cool.

Cloe Janice

On November 13th, my cousin Chris and Laressa welcomed Cloe Janice into the world. She was 7 lbs 12 ounces. Here is a picture of Cloe and a picture of her and her older brother Cole.

I tell ya, Apollo and Saffie sure like each other. Saffie thinks Apollo is going to get her rope. Apollo is trying to attack from above. If only those arms were a little bit longer.

A Hallmark Commercial

I put up my Christmas tree today. I tell ya, it looks like a Hallmark store. I love it.

Apollo hasn't messed with the tree TOO bad yet. I have two of those spiral trees sitting in front of my front windows inside. He is messing with those alot. He keeps biting the wires. I know, I know.....I have a whole month.

Black Friday

I am so proud of myself. I have faced a fear. Black Friday. I have seen some really great deals before on the Friday after Thanksgiving but would never go for it because of the craziness surrounding this day. WELL, today I did it...... There was a TV at Walmart that was being sold for a really great price (at least I think so). SO, I decided I was going to go get it, if it was still there (nah, i didn't really have the money but....). No, I didn't get up to be there at store opening. I'm not that crazy. I had to be at work at 8:30 so I got up a little bit early and stopped by Walmart on my way into work.

This TV is to replace the one in my bedroom (i have been wanting a new one for so long). As you can see by this picture how much room it takes up. My old TV was from the wall all the way to the front of my dresser. Now I just need to figure out how to get the "Dish" remote to work properly.

Today I had Thanksgiving at the Towler house. Thank you Bianca for inviting me. I had a great time. Geeze, they make alot of great food.

I Miss You!

I have a house guest for the rest of this week. Saffie wants me to tell her daddy that she is having fun at Aunt Vickie's house but she sure does miss him. Aunt Vickie won't give her people food...... but Apollo likes her alot.

Transformation

Oh no.....the monkeyboy from yesterday was behind bars too long. They let it into the yard with the other monkeys and it has transformed. He's all harry and walks with it's front hands. Don't worry, you're still cute though.

Look what was on display? A caged monkey. I wonder how much money they charge to feed him?

Dinner with Friends :-)

Tonight I had dinner with some friends. Jocelyn and her husband Glenn were in town from Nashville so we got together. Bianca, her son Elden and Amity were there as well. We had a nice time hanging out and catching up. I haven't seen Jocelyn in quite a while. (geeze, i think it was Bianca's babyshower.....too long). Jocelyn is pregnant with a boy due in March. I tell ya, lots of boys....... Missed ya Amy, hope you feel better :-(~

Congratulations again Jocelyn. Take care and keep me posted on the baby progress. You look FAB.

First Signs.....

Today I went and visited my friend Dawn up in Dawsonville. Dawn, her husband Mark and I got out the Christmas decorations and started hanging the light on the front porch. Their kitty Sam hung out in the yard and helped. She's a cute kitty (looks just like a kitty my family used to have Ma'am). Here is a picture of Sam.
