On Saturday, I went with my friends Dawn and Mark to Brasstown Bald. This is the highest point in Georgia. It was very cold but we made it to the top. The observation deck wasn't open but the deck around it was. It must have snowed the night before. There were still patches of snow and ice lingering. Here are a few pictures

Anything with Bald in the name sounds funny to me. You could have stayed warmer if you had taken some angus beef sandwiches with you. You could have called them Bald Angus sandwiches. It looks very pretty there though!
