Update on Lake Lanier

Well, with all the fall rain Lake Lanier has fully recovered from the severe drought. First Take a look back at the posts from January 27th and 28th 2008. Now take a look at these pictures. I tried to get pictures that are the same spots. (the first picture is where the road was exposed almost two years ago).

Happy Thanksgiving

Wishing you a very Happy Thanksgiving. While my family was in ATL last weekend, my Mom and Dad helped me put up my new Christmas tree. They are never here during the Christmas season so I was happy they could see it together. Tonight, I put out alot of other things. Here are a few pictures.

Three Colors of Fall

I have an empty pot on my back patio. One day I was out there and in this pot was a very tiny tree growing from it. It's fall so it's going through it's change. I like it because each level of the tiny tree is a different color. Check it out....... What a difference in colors.

Not Again

It's raining again in Atlanta. Some locations have not fully recovered from the floods a few weeks ago. The little park down my street is very high again. This reminds me that i wanted to show you a before and after picture of the floods a few weeks ago. This really is the same spot. The flooded picture is missing a little bridge..... It is pretty amazing and this wasn't the worst of it.

The Flood

It has rained so hard that North Georgia is flooding. I hope Lake Lainer is getting as much as other locations. here is a picture of the little pond right near my house. It has been pretty low for a long time. Not now......

A Visit to Charlotte, NC

This weekend I went to visit my friend Brook in Charlotte. We hung out, relaxed, went to a potluck lunch of a friend of hers, went to the movies and today we went to Chowder's Mountain. It was very pretty from the top. Back to work tomorrow.

Mike's 10 Anniversary

Mike's 10 year Anniversary at APL was Sunday. So on Tuesday we celebrated. He's really into running / races / mountain biking so we used the theme " Ten Year Finish Line". Here are some pictures.

Another Year

They Are The Best!!!

Listen, I have the best friends / coworkers ever!!!!! Today they put together a surprise lunch for me today. They wanted me to know that they were there for me and was sorry for the lose of my Grandma. It was so sweet. They got together and thought about some of the foods I liked. Chicken, mac & cheese, this really good veggie pizza and yummie potato cassarole. They even bought a cookie cake.

I wouldn't trade my work family for the world. Thanks guys!!!!!

My Grandma passed away today. I love and miss you Grammie. God will be taking care of you now. I will see you again some day.
