On Friday December 17th at 1:49am Isabelle Katherine was born weighing in at 7lbs 5 oz and 20 inches long. She is just adorable and I am so lucky to have been able to meet her. Check out a few pictures.

My Weekend Visitor

My niece Saffie is spending the weekend with me. She is 16 and is having a hard time with her back legs these days. I have hardwood floors and she is having problems slipping. Scottie found these booties for her with slip guards on the bottom (or at most time top since they keep turning over)

North Georgia Canopy Tour

Today I went ziplining with some friends - Kelly, Debbie, Steven & Christina. It was SO much fun. It was cold at first but it didn't seem to matter. Here are a few pictures.

One rough spot is when I was running across a drawbridge and my camera (which was tethered with a rope to my harness) caught on the rope sides and broke off and fell to the ground. We were way up in the air. I just bought this camera in May. My heart sunk!!!!! The tour guides called back to office to ask someone to come look for the camera. A few minutes later a man came through the woods and found my camera. It was the owner of the company. He called back to the guides to say he found it and it works. OMG, i could now have fun again. When I got home, i was downloading my pictures and the camera hero had taken a picture of himself....hehehehe. There is not even a scratch on it!

Work Halloween

Birthday Adventure

On my birthday, my Mom, Dad and I went to Highland Hammock in Sebring, Fl. We have been here before but have never seen any kind of wildlife. This time we saw all kinds of things. It was really cool (cool to see wildlife and cool weather). We had a really good time. Thanks Mom and Dad for another great birthday :-)

Early Birthday at Island of Adventure

I got to spend my birthday weekend with my parents. We went to Island of Adventure at the Universal Resort on Sunday. Richie and Laura was able to join us. We all had such a wonderful day. We finally got to see the Harry Potter section.

Birthday Surprise

Today a delivery guy came to my work. I went to let him in and he was from Edible Arrangements. I thought it was for our administrator (who's birthday is Friday and last day at APL next Friday). He said it's for Vickie and I said WHAT??? I looked at the paper and it had MY name on it. I couldn't believe it. I've never received anything at work before and who the heck could it be from. I brought it in the door and four of my teammates were standing around looking at me so I said "what did y'all do" and they said it wasn't them. I got back to my desk and opened the card. It was my Texas family who sent me the yummy bouquet.

Thank you so much Diana and family for the wonderful birthday thoughts and yummies. It was a true shocker for sure. My team and I had a really great mid day snack (and will probably have fruit for breakfast tomorrow as well...heheheh). Love you and miss you :-)

A New Addition

My parents have been thinking of getting a new cat to play with Simon. There are a few kittens that seem to have been dumped outside the mall my mom works at. Well, today there was this white kitty my mom has been trying to get for a while laying on the sidewalk. When my mom creeped up to it she noticed a baby kitten laying in the bushes. She bent down and it let her pick it up. WELL.... it is now at their house. Ain't it just adorable???

Bowling

While my Mom was in town a little over a week ago, we went bowling. We had a great time. I won both times..... AHAHAHA Scottie!!!!!

Hearing

Hey Ma...... yesterday i was at work. it was really quiet and I could hear this clock ticking. HEHEHEE I know it doesn't surprise you much but I started laughing and knew i had to tell you.

YUCKIE!!!! This was a pretty big spider. It's web looked like clothes stitch. Pretty weird. Thank goodness for zoom. There's no way I'd really get this close. The day after I took this picture, the spider packed up it's web and left. HEHEHEHE

Sarah Jane

Friday July 16th, Kris had her baby. Sarah Jane was born at 10:30 am. She weighs 8lbs 3ozs. Congratulations Kris, Chuck and John.

Rockstar

HEHEEH.... Sebastian wanted to try on all the purses and then check himself out in the mirror. He said "Rockstar" while looking in every mirror in the store. Crazy kid :-)

Update on Scottie's Tree

Scottie's tree has been cut down. His house is now naked.......

Scottie's Tree

The tree at Scottie's house is splitting and about to fall with one good storm. He contacted the HOA people and they said they'd have to get approval to remove the tree from the City of Norcross. Well, if it falls and kills someone car or worse, would they still need approval? They finally got approval but now they have to send someone out to remove it. They better hurry.

First picture, look at his tree. You can see that the limbs are getting heavy and the whole middle is open. So not suppose to be like that....

There are actually three separate cracks down the base of the tree. So, if the tree decides to break, not really sure which way it will fall.
The last picture is of the tree next door. This is what Scottie's tree is suppose to look like. Full and no hole's in the middle.
